The Reading Capsule

This 1:1 capsule is inspired by the Japanese origami. The shape of the capsule is designed according to the moment of a person reading position. The triangular gussets can be clipped to adjust the angles and shapes. The skin of the capsule is made out of polyproplyene sandwiched with nylon at both sides. The use of translucent material allows sunglight to go through the capsule.

This 1:5 model is made out of Tyvek paper. It is light weight, class A flammability rating, chemical resistance, opacity and also tear resistance. It is a ideal material for 1:1 further development.
